PREP: PREP KIT AT FRONT DESK, FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS
Interview patient history
Take scout film: 14×17 KUB. USE LEAD MARKER FOR ALL IMAGES
Show to Radiologist
Tip patient, then place in RIGHT Lateral Decubitus position
Get Compression Paddle
Radiologist will fluoro while tech inflates balloon
Overheads: AP, both Obliques, AP Sigmoid (30 degrees cephalic), Lateral rectum w/tip removed.
Show films to Radiologist
Let patient go to rest room. Do post evac.
Show to Radiologist
If Gastrografin requested, use 2:1 ratio of water to Omni 350

Show to Radiologist
Tech will Tip patient and place in LEFT Lat. Decubitus Position
Radiologist will fluoro while tech inflates balloon
Overheads: AP, both Obliques, AP Sigmoid (30 degrees cephalic), both decubs, cross table lateral rectum w/tip removed.
Show films to Radiologist
Let patient use rest room, do post evac, show Radiologist
