Myelogram Tray
9ml Lidocaine/1ml Bicarb – Get out extra Lidocaine
20ml Omni 300 in 1 Syringe, add long connector
Extra Fenestrated Drape
25ga. Needle for bicarb/lido mixture
Sterile 4X4s – Get out 2 extra packs with alcohol poured on some of the 4x4s
One 18ga. X 6” spinal needle per level
One 22ga x 20cm Chiba needle per level
Extra band-aids
PT is prone oblique (usually side closest to the Rad. is up) for Lumbar, and SUPINE for cervical.
Try and make sure he will be able to get a lateral view. You may need to use an extra pad off of the stretcher in recovery. It is not always possible to get the lateral.
