Coronal plane with line parallel to the femoral condyles, image entire knee

Ankle
Orient axial plane to axis of calcaneus.
Coronal plane oriented perpendicular to axial plane.
Sagittal plane oriented with line parallel to talus. Cover entire ankle from medial to lateral.
Foot
Orient short axis plane parallel to 2nd/3rd metatarsal shaft.
Orient long axis plane parallel to 1st and 5th metatarsal shafts.
